Welcome to Lomi School
Foundation
Lomi School is now thirty-eight years old, and
in December we uneventfully passed the twentieth birthday of the
Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic. This milestone leaves us with an even
greater commitment in offering our therapy and education to our
community. As our government and the insurance companies further
squeeze funding for mental health, the need for compassionate
care is even greater. We search for new ways to serve the community.
Though the Clinic is no longer in its infancy, we believe it important
to keep a "beginner's mind", to be open to seeing the
world freshly. We seek to see what is needed in our community,
and with each client.

Robert K. Hall, M.D.
When you walk through a storm
keep your head up high
and don't be afraid of the dark.
That old song rings true today
just like when you enter that tension
in your neck and shoulders
thick dense energy holding
tissue hostage so nothing can move
in case there is danger out there
like there was once
when tears came and smallness was
tiny in such a big world
demons everywhere so we touch
the tongue to the roof of mouth
making humming noises for solace
magic keeps the bad things away
knowing now this is fear this is fear
old stuff locked away in the body
and now dissolving because we can
let go of the past watch it flutter
back into what no longer is while
a deep easy breath brings the present
and its moment of freedom light
leaving us quivering and grateful
for clear weather one more time.
