Leora Bar-Din, BSN, RN, MA, AMFT

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

I have come to Lomi with a passion for listening, understanding, and providing a place where individuals of all ages and identities can find their way to valuing their feelings and perspectives, connecting with their genuineness and motivations, and working with their challenges. My past professions include working as a certified massage therapist and a registered nurse. Throughout, I have recognized the importance of providing care based on the person-centered approach: it has been this philosophy that continues to define my work. During the clinical traineeship year for my masters in counseling, I provided grief counseling to adults and teens at Providence Hospice in Santa Rosa. I feel truly honored to help others negotiate difficult transitions and reaffirm selfhood, and am dedicated to supporting individuals in their pursuit of authenticity and resilience. I am a person-centered expressive arts facilitator, and I have been a yoga practitioner for over 20 years. I also find joy in cooking, painting, reading, and spending time with my family and our dogs.
