“The wound is the place where the light enters you." - Rumi

Processing pain requires courage and vulnerability-- a willingness to take a look at all of the things we have learned to sweep so neatly under the rug-- and doing so allows our pain a purpose in shaping our lives. We do not need to be grateful, in any way, that bad things have happened to us; however, when we understand the source(s) of our suffering and how we replicate that suffering, we are empowered to move forward and shape our lives out of healing instead of hurt.

I am interested in working with individuals, family, and children. I have worked with individuals of all ages on the Suicide Hotline, with teens in residential program settings, and in early childhood development with children ten and under. In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing soccer, spending time surfing and at the beach, and exploring new restaurants I’ve found on TikTok.
