Nathan Harper
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Many people come to therapy during moments when something in life no longer feels sustainable, when anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or substance use begin to signal that something deeper needs attention. I view these moments not simply as problems to eliminate, but as invitations to better understand ourselves and the patterns that shape our lives. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with people of all expressions who are navigating emotional distress, life transitions, interpersonal conflict, and questions of identity and purpose. I have a particular interest in working with men who are exploring how to move beyond isolation, reconnect with their emotional lives, and build more meaningful relationships with themselves and others.
My approach is existential and integrative. This means I draw from multiple therapeutic perspectives while focusing on the deeper questions that often arise in therapy, questions about meaning, responsibility, authenticity, and how we want to live our lives. I often incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and reflective exploration to help clients better understand their inner experiences and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. I see therapy as a collaborative process of exploration and growth. My goal is to create a space where clients feel supported in examining their experiences honestly, cultivating greater self-awareness, and moving toward a life that feels more intentional, authentic, connected, and meaningful.
