Sylvia Jackson, MA

PsyD Intern

Hello, my name is Sylvia, and I am a Predoctoral Intern at Lomi. I have a holistic, integrative, relational, and trauma-informed approach to mental health care. I work collaboratively with my clients and tailor treatment to their individual needs. I believe that it is the relationship between the therapist and client that brings about the most therapeutic change, and I strive to instill hope, empowerment, and transformation. I have a decade of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, and children from diverse backgrounds, who have trauma histories, and are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, grief and loss, autism, ADHD, substance use/abuse, foster care, and homelessness to name a few. I am passionate about social justice, and I strive to embody that in all aspects of my work. I am a first-generation college student from Sonoma County, and I love creating art, hiking, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
