Kylee Tyndall

PsyD Intern

Hi, I’m Kylee “Kyle” Tyndall (she/her), a second-year doctoral student in psychology. I am passionate about creating accessible, inclusive, and socially conscious mental health care. I completed my undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, where I earned a BS in Psychology, a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies, and a minor in Disability Studies-an academic background that deeply informs how I approach therapy and healing.

In 2022, I completed a fellowship with RespectAbility, a disability-led nonprofit, where I worked on projects exploring the intersections of religion and disability. I’ve also had the privilege of mentoring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, experiences that strengthened my communication and advocacy skills and reinforced my commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive spaces.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, and rooted in respect and empowerment. I honor each person’s strengths, resilience, and lived experiences while integrating trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and decolonial perspectives. Drawing from narrative, integrative, humanistic-existential, psychodynamic, and relational approaches, I tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. Guided by feminist, Disability Justice, multicultural, and LGBTQIA+ affirming values, I strive to provide a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where clients can explore, heal, and grow with compassion and support.

Outside of my academic and clinical work, I love crocheting and knitting, practicing hot yoga, hiking, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.
