Phoebe McKinney

Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee

If you're struggling with anxiety, PTSD, unresolved trauma, substance abuse or are in early recovery, struggling with life transitions, grief/bereavement, self-esteem, or want to create stronger, healthier relationships with your partner or family, you’re not alone. As a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee, I offer a supportive space for meaningful, lasting change. With a compassionate and personalized approach, I create a safe space for clients to explore their concerns, gain insight, and work toward meaningful growth. My goal is to empower you to develop the tools needed to foster connection, resilience, and well-being in all areas of your life.

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your emotions and experiences without judgment. I integrate a variety of evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed and systems theory, and mindfulness to tailor the treatment to your unique needs and goals. During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where we’ll take the time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy, while also explaining my approach and answering any questions you may have.
