Anna Carr
Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee
Hello and welcome. I deeply value each person’s story and the struggles they have faced. In my work, I explore past experiences and attachment patterns to better understand how they shape current challenges. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and Jungian perspectives, with a strong emphasis on attachment and person-centered care. I believe that looking into past experiences often opens the door to meaningful healing and growth.
I work with a wide range of clients and bring an honest, empathetic, and straightforward style to therapy. Before joining Lomi, I provided counseling to students and parents at Rodeo Hills Elementary and supported callers on a suicide hotline. I also have non-clinical experience working with neurodivergent children and teens.
Outside my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my family, dancing, playing pickleball, and cooking.
